If you saw yesterday’s post, hopefully you gained insights into your cravings during *that* time of the month.
Today’s recipe is the perfect solution for those times when you really want something sweet but don’t want to blow your diet.
The calcium and fiber in this treat will help you feel fuller longer, and the dark chocolate combined with the fruit’s natural sugars will satisfy your sweet tooth, without making you want more. (Can I get an amen to that?!)
Grab a bowl, a spoon, and enjoy!
Ingredients
- Lowfat plain yogurt
- Vanilla extract
- Small dark chocolate square (about 1/8th of a full bar)
- Assorted fresh berries
Instructions
- Fill a small bowl with 3/4 cup of yogurt; stir in a splash of vanilla.
- Put dark chocolate in a zip-top bag and crush, or place on cutting board and shave with a paring knife. Sprinkle chocolate shavings onto yogurt.
- Top with fresh berries of your choosing.
Here are a couple more pictures… First is the ingredients you’ll need. Second is the dark chocolate bar I used. (The darker, the better!)
