I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get in a rut. Not just in my own life, but in my marriage and parenting.
Recently a girl in my mom’s group mentioned a website called iMOM.com, and after checking it out, I am completely in love!
There are encouraging and practical articles related to all facets of a mom’s life: Marriage and Love, Wellness, Mom Management, Family Fun, and Encouragement. Plus parenting resources for every stage of your child’s life.
They have a powerhouse team of iSpecialists, including Lauren Dungy, who happens to be married to my favorite football coach of all time–Tony Dungy. π
I think my favorite part of the site, though, is the Tools section. They have Training Tools, like a cell phone contract you can use for your kids (which will probably be here before I know it…Yikes!), a screen time tracker, questions for your kids to ask before they buy something, and tons more.
Then they also have Organization Tools, Seasonal Tools (holiday lunchbox notes, etc.), and Relationship Tools, which are some of my favorite. Examples include 10 Ways to Pray for Your Husband, Phrases for Praises, and conversation starters for the different stages your kids go through.
Have I mentioned yet how cool this site is?! I guarantee it will get you out of your rut. π
What’s your favorite “mom” resource? Have you visited iMOM before? What feature most interests you about it?

I clicked over and took a look. Wow, from discipline to to-do lists to flus and entertainment. That’s a sight that certainly has all the topics covered, what a great resource!
Hi Joanne! They do cover it all, don’t they? It’s a gold mine for moms. π
Nope, I’ve never visited imom before, but it sounds great. Thanks for the tip, and I think I’ll mosey on over . . . after I get the breakfast dishes done and bathroom cleaned. I don’t suppose imom offers a free maid service?
LOL, Naomi! Wouldn’t free maid service be awesome?! I’d be clamoring for it right along with you.
Uh oh…another site for me to check out. I’m going to be glued to the computer for a week w/ all the new sites I’ve just found.
Mom resource…my online blogging buds.
~ Wendy
Hi Wendy! Online buds are the best for mom advice. I appreciated yours today. Thank you, friend.
Another great resource tucked away in my brain for when kids come along… π
LOL, You’ll be fully armed whenever that day comes, Lindsay!
Can’t wait to check this one out, Sarah. I’m always looking for ways to get inspired as a mom!
Hi Jill! Beware, You may find yourself spending the rest of the afternoon there. π
This sounds great. I wish they had this when my kids were younger. Life has it’s ups and downs, and a writer’s life is no different. We need that support. I’m going to check it out. Thanks for sharing.
You’re right, Loree. Motherhood is full of ups and downs…sometimes daily, sometimes hourly, and sometimes minute-ly. π
thanks for this! will check it out.
my little girl got lots of Boz for Christmas…thanks for writer mom recommending him. π
Hey Jeannie! So glad you got Boz for your daughter. We just watched him this afternoon. π
Sounds like a cool resource! Thanks for sharing it.
You’re welcome, Stacy! π
This sounds like a great website. I hang out at moneysavingmom.com. She does many types of articles besides giving couponing deals.
I’ve visited that site as well, Susan. It’s an awesome resource!
I just heard of this somewhere but haven’t checked it out. Thanks for the info! Sounds like a great site. π
You’re welcome, Karen! π
Yay! Thanks for letting me know about yet another wonderful discovery of yours! Keep ’em coming, girl!
Oh there’s more discovery to come, Jenny. π
Thanks for the tip! I’m going to check it out!
I used to like Parenting Magazine. I liked it’s recommendations for toys and recipes in it.
I haven’t read much of Parenting Magazine, Jennifer, other than in doctors offices. π Sounds like I need to give it a read more often!
